Ex Nigerian gov Yahaya Bello: Judge is stupid, I won't submit to him, I gave him N20b

Embattled ex Nigerian governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello has reportedly bragged he wouldn't submit himself to the court for prosecution.

Bello is being tried for N80b looting of the state's money under his watch.

He has defied every opportunity to appear before the court.

Last August 22, the former governor was said to have posted on his X handle that he paid the judge N20b, and that the judge was stupid. He vowed not to appear before the court.
