What are the evolutionary reasons for the on-average very high IQ of the Igbo people in Nigeria?
I've always said that if you take south eastern Nigeria out of Nigeria, the average IQ of Nigeria will plummet.
Students from South Eastern Nigeria require the highest college credits to get into University. This is unlike any other country in the world where universities don't discriminate based on regions.
Igbo kids are already disenfranchised from a young age. It's as if the Nigerian government hates them. The southeastern states (where most Igbo people live) receive the lowest budget for funding. Yet their region still looks better than the northern states with the highest budget.
Nevertheless, despite all the odds, the Igbo still come out the strongest. They have the most graduates and are the ones keeping the Nigerian economy alive.
Once you start learning the REAL African history, you'll see that Igbo people are the immediate descendants of the worlds first farmers.
Their ancestors were the first to started far.ming and it was the culture and spirituality of these ancient people that later spread across the entire earth.
They started off farming yam and when they left Africa., their first stop was Papua New Guinea. They might have even reached the Americas before Papua New Guinea, but I'm still researching this.
One group of them also back migrated into Africa.
