Porsha Williams was awarded a big victory in her divorce from Simon Guobadia.

The filing also pertains to their prenuptial agreement.

According to the docs, Guobadia "argues that Wife’s desire to return to reality television or employment in the future constitutes a non-disclosure of material fact and misrepresentation, that renders the Prenuptial Agreement unenforceable."

Addressing Guobadia's claims that Williams agreed to be a stay-at-home mom and wife during their marriage and forgo her own career, the court found them to be invalid.

The court did not "find merit" in his argument "as the Court finds that Wife has been a reality TV celebrity for years, which was well known to Husband at the time of negotiating the Prenuptial Agreement, and Husband nevertheless married Wife with this knowledge.”

After starring on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta from seasons 5-13, Williams left in September 2021, four months after they announced their engagement in May 2021. Earlier this year it was announced she would be returning for the upcoming 16th season.

In the couple's prenuptial agreement, it states that its “central purpose… is to avoid contested and expensive litigation, including the costly and potentially intrusive discovery process, if an Event of Dissolution occurs.”

The ruling reads that the court finds it "undisputed by both parties that the Prenuptial Agreement at issue in this case was negotiated by the parties with very competent lawyers over a year length of time, and included the exchange of financial disclosures, such that the issues of fraud, mistake, misrepresentation, and duress are clearly addressed in multiple provisions of the Prenuptial Agreement."

“Essentially, the crux of Husband’s argument could have been explicitly contained within the four corners of the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement, and it was not,” it continued.

This is a major victory for RHOA star, bringing her to the final step of divorce proceedings. Once the couple’s prenuptial agreement is officially upheld by the court, Williams will be awarded her legal expenses by Guobadia and walk away a single woman.

Because the documents specify that “serving, conducting, or attempting to serve or conduct, any discovery whatsoever, either upon/toward the other Party or upon/toward any third-party, including” written discovery, taking depositions and issuing subpoenas violates the prenup, Williams contested Guobadia's actions and the court ruled in her favor.

Williams first filed for divorce in February after 15 months of marriage. At the time, a source told PEOPLE the split was due to an "ongoing matter." Williams listed their marriage as "irretrievably broken."

The two began the back-and-forth filings after disagreeing over the validity of their prenup. The occupancy of their marital home and Williams’ financial standing given her recent scripted development deal with NBC Universal were also points of contention.

In the midst of the legal battle, the reality TV personality slammed Guobadia for making "false statements and allegations" that are "intentionally misrepresenting the reality of the situation."

The cause of their split is an "ongoing matter," adds the insider.

Williams, 42, and Guobadia, 59, said "I do" in November 2022 in a Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony followed by an American ceremony in Atlanta.

The pair announced their engagement in May 2021 after one month of dating. "Yes we are crazy in love," Williams captioned a selfie with Guobadia. "I know it's fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night."

Guobadia echoed Williams' sentiments, telling his followers that he asked her to marry him "because we checked ALL of each other's boxes, and then some."

She also signed an overall scripted deal with NBCUniversal on "scripted project opportunities across the company's broadcast and streaming properties."

“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family,” she said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and showing the world my new world!"

Williams first joined RHOA back in its fifth season. After leaving the show in season 13, she and Guobadia appeared together on Real Housewives spinoff Porsha's Family Matters in 2021.

She last starred in the third season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which aired last year.P
