*2. ZAMFARA GOLD RAIDS 1667 — KEBBI TRIBUTE 1670:*
Following Kano campaign, Kwararafa forces turned westward toward goldfields of Zamfara. Around 1667 raiding parties at Anka gold district, intercepting caravans and seizing gold dust, salt and ironware. By 1670 confederacy demanded annual tribute from Kebbi — 200 head of cattle, woven cloth, cowrie shells to Wukari to avoid town burning. Record preserved in Katsina archive.
*3. KATSINA BATTLES 1680 — FINAL NORTHERN EXPEDITION:*
In 1680 Kwararafa forces besieged Katsina for nearly a month — largest campaign of era. Jukun cavalry clashed with Katsina defenders east of city walls. Siege lifted after tribute paid, but Bornu counter-attack ended Kwararafa northern expansion. This matches Fisher: Kwararafa assaulted Katsina, sacked Zaria and launched invasion on Borno in 1670s.
