Eulogy for couple that held wedding in mud

Netizens across diverse cultures and nations are hailing a Nigerian couple that defied heavy downpour, muddy roads, swampy and water logged venue to hold their traditional wedding in the remote village of the bride as custom demanded.

It is common to see Nigerian couples shifting their weddings to cities citing insecurities, bad roads, rainpour, juju, hostile relatives among others.

Commenters on Facebook where pictures of the wedding was posted blessed the couple, saying they loved their determination and that someday, perhaps, the road would be done because of the wife.

Some others were not that kind as they queried why the wedding was fixed in the wet season and not in the dry period.
