An argument is brewing over Don Jazzy's ethnic origin.
A post on Facebook shows his father, Enebeli in traditional Igbo Isiagu attaire in company if his family at an Igbo association meeting, Ezinnwanne association.
The website described the musician's father as a proud Igbo and that the attaire and his attendance to the Igbo meeting showed his Igboness.
But some commenters countered the story, saying to wear Igbo attaire and to answer Igbo names were not enough to say somebody was Igbo.
However, one Collins Enebeli said he was Don Jazzy's cousin and that the Nollywood legend, Enebeli Elebuwa was also Don Jazzy's family member.

Enebeli himself married from Abia state where Don Jazzy was born.
In fact, Don Jazzy has publicly declared he is an Igbo man.
