Cameroonian woman claims Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson, is her child

A viral story is going around that ace Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson has a Cameroonian mother.

One Happiness Nnaji posted the story on her Facebook page, saying, " Its almost 2024 ending yet Mercy Johnson continuously denies her biological mother from Cameroon 

Despite her tears, proves, resemblance & willingness to do a DNA test.. Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson continues to ignore her. The mother is being helped by a philanthropist in Douala Cameroon. Suffering from poverty & barely have enough to eat meanwhile, she has a very famous & rich daughter. This is heartbreaking for any mother. it's a pity 😥🤦🏼‍♂️

Not all parents have the ability & capabilities to raise children. Just bringing you into the world is the biggest gift from them ❤️

That’s not her mum 

I know mercy family from navy barrack ojota Lagos Nigeria,(her dad is a Navy man)her younger sister by name Agnes do visit my aunty then cus my aunty (mum younger sister)she marry a Navy and I use to visit them during holiday ,mercy mum is late

But another person said, she was her mom who was separated from her dad.

the separation was due to lack of technology to communicate. She went to Cameroon for her dad burial and the journey was half trekking. She kept writing letter to mercy dad and didn’t get response. When she came back she didn’t see her husband and children. She asked around nd no one agreed to show her. You know in those days no social media you can just post. Since then she have been looking for them. She even mentioned mercy Johnson birthday.

Another person said, It’s her mom. Even if you can’t see the resemblance this woman have met mercy. She even told mercy her real name and that of her siblings. And explained how she got separated from them. Mercy nd her husband followed her to the hospital to conduct DNA and said the woman must pay for her own test. 

The fact that you grew up with her doesn’t mean the mother you know is her biological kids. If this woman was lying after all the proofs she showed mercy. Mercy wouldn’t have agreed for DNA test.

the woman you assume to be mercy’s mum was her step mum. The dad married her when he left mercy’s mum back to Nigeria. The children were still tender when their dad took them away. Apparently, they have known that woman to be their mum all their life. That is the same woman mercy buried couple of years ago. 

She should find a place in her heart and forgive her mum. If our Heavenly Father can forgive us our sins, how much more we humans.

That woman has really suffered enough.
